Picture this: a bustling college campus, students huddled in libraries, and the air thick with the scent of ambition. Yet, behind the façade of academic rigor, there is a silent struggle. The pandemic had hit, and the students were floundering. I was once one of them, but I had a lifeline—my passion for helping people resolve their issues. Around this time, my book, “Elevate Your Essay Writing Skills,” was published. I thought, “What better way to pay it forward than to arm these students with the tools they need?”

My journey into entrepreneurship was not a calculated move; it was a path that found me. I had always been passionate about community development and had volunteered in various capacities. But the real turning point came when I was mentored by three incredible women. They took the time to guide me, invited me to shadow them, and never gave up on me. I thought, “If they could gift me this leverage, why could I not do the same for others?”

While working for an engineering company, I organized a conference for 250 students. The feedback was overwhelming. Students told me how I had changed their career paths and even their mental health. It was a moment of reckoning. Do I keep climbing the corporate ladder, leaving behind those crying out for help? Or do I share my gift with the world, despite the uncertainties it might bring? The answer was clear. I chose the latter, and EL Empire was born.
